The New You

Therefore is anyone in Christ, he is a new creator; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.  (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Think, for a moment, about the "old" you, the person you were before you invited Christ to reign over your heart.  Now, think about the "new" you, the person you have become since then.  Is there a difference between the "old" you and the "new and improved" version?  There should be!  And that difference should be noticeable not only to you but also to others.

We accepted the Lord into our lives in August 2009.  Yes, it's been a year now!  In November 22, 2009 (my birthday) me, Dan and Shain got baptized.  And now, 2010 we are amazed on just the transformation the Lord has done in our lives.  There's many times I find myself crying during our worship service. It's not tears of sadness nor is it tears of pain.... but it's tears of joy.  I think about how far we have come together as family and just how blessed I am to have chosen this path in our lives.

The Bible clearly teaches that when we welcome Christ into our hearts, we become new creations through Him.  Our challenge, of course, is to behave ourselves like new creations.  When we do, God fills our hearts, He blesses our endeavors, and He transforms our lives... forever.

  1. Hi Babe,
I love this blog that you created. This is truly inspirational and motivational. We are truly blessed in the place God has put our Family in. Yes, it has been a year and the Lord has and still is giving us abundance of Love and Blessings. We must always remember that the Lord Chooses us and that we don't choose Him. Though we must continue to seek Him. I fell in Love with you 17 years ago and I thought I Loved you then. Through the Lords Mercy and Grace it was until I gave myself to Him that I truly See His grace by the gift He has giving me in a "wife" that is so gifted and strong. I know "NOW" that the Lord is present and has Blessed my Life. I lift all the Praise and Glory to God for He has shown me the Light!

I Love You and Thank the Lord for you are Truly a Gift from GOD!

    Many Blessings to You!

    In HIS name
    Dan
